an act of peace
during turbulent times
history reminds us
that peace
isn’t an easy task
nor should it become one
war and famine
is all around us
we are here
in the midst of a pandemic
yet peace is strived for
by those living in God’s Kindom
we might not know all the answers
but we know that the God who is in all and through all
reminds us that there is peace
within our hearts
